Soweto, South Africa

So I know it’s taken a while but I wanted to share some of my photos with you from my trip to South Africa where I went on a tour of Soweto.

Having left South Africa at the age of 5 I never really got the chance to learn about South African history, especially about the apartheid and the Soweto Uprising.

During my tour of Soweto, I was constantly shocked and amazed by the diversity within Soweto, especially at how the people live, some of the house were spectacular and some were part of shanty towns.

I felt extremely connected to the history of Soweto. Here are a few photographs from my Visit Image
